Screwfix now offers a Click & Collect service - pay securely online and collect in-store in 5 minutes.
Products displaying a 'Collection' icon (shown below) are available for collection in store either "Next Day" or "Today". Allow us to search for your location, or click the 'Add for Collection' button and enter a town name or postcode to view stock availability at the nearest store. Your last selected store will be remembered and the current stock displayed.
How do I add Collection items to my trolley?
Once you click on 'Check stock in other stores' or the 'Add for Collection' button, you will be shown the stock levels at the six nearest stores to your location. Decide which store you want to collect from, update the quantity in the "Qty" box as required and click on the blue Collect button to add the item to your trolley. You can now order and collect more stock than your selected branch has available. Enter the required stock and click the ‘Add for Collection’ button, you will be given two options. Option 1 to collect the number of products your selected store has immediately available with the remainder being available to collect the next day, or Option 2 where you can collect all required stock the next day from the selected store.
What is the benefit of letting us search your location?
If you have agreed to let us search for your location, we will automatically identify your nearest store and display stock information on the product page. If you are happy to collect your items from the identified store, simply use the blue Collect button to add items to your trolley.
We only use your location for providing a convenient stock checking facility; we do not use this for any kind of tracking purposes.
How do I change selected store?
You can change your selected store either on the product page by selecting the "Check stock in other stores" link, or in the trolley via the "Change store" link.
You can only select one store for Collection per order. If you add a product to your trolley for Collection at an alternative store, all items will automatically be moved to collection from the new store.
What do I do once I have submitted my order?
When collecting your items you must bring...
• The payment card you used to purchase your items. For security purposes you will need to verify your card using a chip & pin check.
• Your order reference as shown on the Order Confirmation screen.
We'll send you an email with your order reference number and if you have provided a mobile number we will also send you an SMS.
When you get to the store, go straight to the collection desk and quote your order reference number to collect your order.
Your items will be held at your chosen store for 14 days, after which time you will have to contact customer services on 08000 926055 (mobile friendly 01935 385564) to arrange collection.
Can I have items for Collection and Delivery in the same order?
Yes. Payment will be taken for the whole order and any delivery charges, discounts and bulk savings will be based on the entire trolley total.
When will my items be ready to collect?
Collect Today items are currently in stock at your chosen store and will be available for collection 5 minutes after submitting your order (unless placed outside store opening hours). Outside store opening hours Collect Today items will be available when the store is next open.

What happens on Bank Holidays?
On Bank Holidays, Collect Today items will be available in 5 minutes as normal (within opening hours).
Collect Next Day orders placed anytime on a Saturday, Sunday or before 2pm on a Bank Holiday Monday will be available to collect from midday on the Tuesday. Collect Next Day orders made after 2pm on Bank Holiday Monday will be available to collect from midday on the Wednesday.
